Therapeutic and Support Interventions

About

Empowering Every Scholar’s Unique Journey

Every scholar’s path to success is as unique as they are. That’s why our Therapeutic and Support Interventions program is thoughtfully designed to provide personalized support that helps each learner thrive, not in spite of challenges, but through them.

Whether a scholar benefits from speech therapy, occupational therapy, or other supportive services, these interventions are not a sign of limitation, they are tools of empowerment. Just as a scholar uses books, technology, or mentorship, therapy is simply another way we equip young minds to grow with confidence, clarity, and purpose.

Greatness comes in many forms and Therapeutic and Support Interventions are not about fixing; they’re about unlocking potential, nurturing growth, and building the foundation for lifelong learning and achievement.

Because at ACS Athens, every scholar deserves the chance to achieve their true purpose.

A total of 40 minutes.

2. Does SLT & OT take place during the school day?

3. What is the process for a speech and language (SLT) or occupational therapy (OT) screen?

If a screen is deemed necessary by the Child Study Team at ACS Athens, either for speech and language therapy or occupational therapy, the homeroom teacher will reach out to you regarding the next steps.
