Daphne Apostolidis
Daphne Apostolidis received a Bachelor of Biology from Northeastern University in Boston in 2018. She was in the Honors Program at Northeastern, ran Division I Track & Field and Cross Country for two years, and served as a Senator to Northeastern’s Student Government Association.
As an undergraduate student, she completed three 6-month co-ops, her first at Merck KGaA, where she worked as a Protein Engineer Antibody Researcher and designed, built, and tested new biological entities for the early phases of drug discovery process. She then worked at AbbVie’s London office, implementing the first UK employee communications app, and in her final co-op, she worked at Sanofi Genzyme as a Global Market Research Co-op, where she executed internal market research projects for rare diseases.
Upon graduating from Northeastern, she re-joined AbbVie and worked for 3 years as an Immunology Sales representative in Boston. She then moved to Chicago in September 2021 to work as an Associate Marketing Manager on the tactical execution of key content and educational programs for patients with rheumatic and axial diseases.
Daphne was promoted to Marketing Manager in April 2022 to develop, manage, and oversee the tactical execution educational programs to increase disease state awareness and understanding of AbbVie’s Rheumatology portfolio. She is pursuing her Master’s of Public Health part-time at Imperial College London while she lives in Chicago. She is still an avid runner and is training to best her time of 1:30:47 in the Half Marathon.
