Panayiotis Gialamas
Panayiotis Gialamas is a global, innovative leader with industry expertise in engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain across Big Tech and Fortune 100 companies. His career has spanned roles in North America, Latin America, Europe, and Asia, where Panayiotis managed influential business transformation projects and led diverse, global teams as an organizational change leader.
At Google, Panayiotis is a Global Transportation Program Manager for Google Cloud, where he is responsible for developing programs for logistics capabilities and enablement. Previously at Amazon, Panayiotis was a Senior Operations Program Manager for Amazon Devices, where he was responsible for launching new products and optimizing inventory management. Panayiotis began his career as a mechanical engineer for Dow Chemical, where he focused on delivering digital solutions for safer, more reliable operations. In energy technology, Panayiotis led the inbound logistics transformation for the Baker Hughes company by launching digital logistics products across global regions.
Panayiotis earned his Bachelor’s from Northwestern University in Mechanical Engineering and his Master’s from the University of California, Santa Barbara in Mechanical Engineering. While working full-time, Panayiotis further expanded his career and earned his M.B.A. at the University of Texas at Austin.
In each academic, professional, and philanthropic setting, Panayiotis has demonstrated the importance of supporting education and career aspirations of young individuals and Greek students. Panayiotis held team roles in Hellenic organizations at the University of California and Northwestern with mentorship roles at the American Community Schools of Athens (ACS Athens). He has been a guest speaker on business leadership and a STEM ambassador for students in the US and in Greece.
