Marshall Cho has worked the Nike Hoop Summit several times since 2012 and for the past ten years, he has been involved with the USA Basketball Youth and Sport programs, first as a volunteer and then as a staff member by being a court coach. He also worked the men’s junior national team U16/U17 trials and the 2022 Men’s Junior National Team April minicamp.
Cho also served as the director of basketball operations at the University of Portland from 2012 to 2014 and during his three years, he sent four players to the NBA (Victor Oladipo, Jerian Grant, Quinn Cook, Jerami Grant).
In addition, Cho is a part of the board at the Oregon Athletic Coaches Association and the Oregon Basketball Coaches Association. Cho has also served as the camp lead instructions director for the Yao Foundation Camp in China for four out of the past five summers.
While his knowledge and work apply to all ages of players, his “expertise” lies in the development of basketball skills at the youth age.
