AEK Basketball Club, Men’s Basketball
Ilias Zouros is a Greek Basketball coach, presently with the club team of AEK playing in the Greek League as well as the Basketball Champions’ League.
Coach Zouros has vast experience as a coach; his coaching tenure goes back to 1986 when he started coaching youth teams as well as men’s teams.
Throughout his coaching career, he coached Greek teams as well as International club teams: Olympiakos, Peristeri, Aris, Zalgiris, Anatolu Efes to name a few! Coach Zouros has also been the coach of the National Men’s team of Greece as well as the National men’s team of Georgia. He coached Georgia at the Eurobasket 2017 and 2022, and under his guidance, the Georgian team made their debut at the 2023 FIBA World Cup.
His personal awards / achievements as Head Coach are:
