Following a highly competitive selection process we are proud to announce the next cohort of students chosen to participate in the 2025-26 cycle of the ACS Athens OPEN program. These students will embark on a transformative journey to turn their innovative ideas into impactful projects that promote sustainability, improve the school environment, and foster conscious citizenship.
To kickstart their participation, students took part in a dynamic two-day bootcamp on May 9th and 10th, designed to introduce the entrepreneurial mindset as a cognitive process and provide foundational strategies for their journey. Through hands-on workshops and mentorship, they explored what it means to think like an entrepreneur, refined their project ideas, and gained the confidence, tools, and collaborative spirit needed to move forward. As a launchpad, the program offers a structured pathway, including a €2,000 seed fund, for students to turn their ideas into real solutions, with the potential to step into the world of startups.
In the coming months, students will continue developing their ideas through mentorship, prototyping, and community engagement. They will also have opportunities to pitch their solutions to members of the ACS Athens network, gaining valuable feedback and building critical connections.
This year’s selected students represent a diverse group of thinkers and changemakers across Middle School and the Academy. These students have been chosen by a committee of administrators, counselors and teachers recognized first for their ability to embody the values of the program, and then for the ideas they proposed.
