Applications open for students currently in grades 8 & 9
The ACS Athens Open program helps students turn innovative ideas into real products that enhance the school environment, promote sustainability, or foster conscious citizenship. With an initial budget of 2,000 euros and ongoing support from entrepreneurs and experts, students receive guidance through every stage of development, including prototyping, market exploration, and connecting with potential customers, partners, and investors.

EcoSmart Bins
An AI bin that guides students through the correct process of recycling. The bin is made up of: a screen that communicates with the user and automated bin entrances. The automated bins ensure correct recycling, while the AI enabled screen guides students through the correct recycling thought process, and allows them to gather house points, so as to both motivate and educate.
EduGreens
EduGreens is focused on teaching communities about sustainable food production. The initiative uses hydroponic systems, including a green wall to show how plants can be grown using less water and space. EduGreens also includes a complete hydroponics kit that provides everything a person needs to start and continue growing plants, making sustainable food production easy to learn and maintain in a school environment.

IntegratED
IntegratED is an educational computer platform aimed at teaching refugees valuable skills and things they can use in their life. The platform aims to connect the refugee student with a local student in order to foster skills and finding their talents. We hope to implement our platform with the Y2Y program in hope that it can be actually tested and proven to be a worthwhile endeavor.
GlobalLingo
GlobalLingo is a peer-to-peer language learning platform for young learners, where students make friends while learning languages through real conversations and cultural exchange. Unlike traditional apps, GlobalLinguo focuses on communication, collaboration, and helping kids connect globally in a safe and interactive environment to discover new cultures.
Peerfluence
An online peer-to-peer tutoring platform that creates a seamless way to schedule, manage, and track tutoring sessions fully integrated within a school’s system. By fostering a cohesive, student-led tutoring community, we empower students to reach their full academic potential in a comfortable, non-intimidating learning environment.
LOGYRA
LOGYRA is an inclusive, teacher-first learning platform that assesses how students learn and helps educators adapt instruction at scale. By analyzing classroom learning patterns, LOGYRA transforms teacher materials into personalized, accessible formats and provides actionable teaching strategies—so every student can understand, engage, and succeed without replacing the teacher with AI.
EconQuest
EconQuest is a financial literacy game that aims to teach teens and students broad knowledge of money and thus make them confident for their future financially independent lives. It will achieve these goals through game mechanics that will make the app engaging. Using lessons, simulations, rewards and progress tracking, students will be able to learn and enjoy it without realising that they are learning.
ECHO
ECHO is a website that connects high school students with children in need through meaningful giving and storytelling. Students can donate, exchange guided letters with a “hero” child, and eventually have the option to create a short e-book that highlights the hero’s life, strengths, and memories. This turns charity into a personal, educational experience that creates passion and highlights underprivileged children as inspiring leaders.
