I started playing tennis at the start of 4th grade. I had played in 2nd grade for a year, but started again in 4th grade, taking it more seriously. I find tennis a hard but fun sport to play. Previously, I did track and field, which helped with my footwork and running fast. In the past, I played at other tennis clubs but decided to join ACS Athens Tennis Academy in the 6th grade.
Over time, my goals changed. At first I wanted to play just as a hobby. Now, I am more serious about tennis and I want to play professionally. My coaches were one of the many reasons I decided to take tennis more seriously. They encouraged me and taught me things I never thought I would learn. I have trained with many coaches who have all taught me something different and they never doubted my ability. At the ACS Athens tennis academy, they are willing to improve my skills and make me a better athlete! I’m looking forward to the challenge!
