Alex Karageorgis

Alex Karageorgis is the Co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of Project Agora, a Mediatech Platform-as-a-Service (PiaaS) company within the ThinkDigital Group (TDG). Project Agora partners with over 3,000 digital media owners across Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Latin America, aiming to restore their rightful value in a digital ecosystem often dominated by monopolistic platforms. Its mission is to facilitate seamless connectivity of technology, data, and expertise, enabling partners to thrive in the open web landscape.

TDG is a leading digital marketing and technology group in the CEEMEA region, operating at the intersection of marketing and e-commerce. With a team of over 150 professionals, TDG’s portfolio includes ThinkDigital, ForestView, TailWind EMEA, and Project Agora. The group collaborates with both international and local partners, such as Amazon, Xandr, Taboola, Global Web Index, and Citrus, while also developing proprietary technologies to effectively serve advertisers, publishers, and retailers across its regional presence.

Alex’s professional journey began in the telecom industry with Vodafone UK in 2000. Over the past two decades, he has accumulated extensive experience in business development, sales, marketing, and people operations. In 2008, he joined ThinkDigital Group—a decision he considers pivotal in his career. Under his leadership, the group experienced significant growth, expanding its revenue from just over €3 million to €42 million within a decade.
Academically, he holds an MBA from the University of Kent and an MSc in Digital Communication Systems from Loughborough University. Outside of his professional endeavors, he is a dedicated father of two and an avid comic book enthusiast.
